School-Based Health Center
About
If your child is feeling bad during the school day or need a required physical or immunization, they can see the School Nurse, who will decide if a visit to a medical provider is needed. You may choose to see your own primary care provider if you have one, or your student can be seen at our School-Based Health Center (SBHC) located directly inside your child's school. It is important to note that the SBHC will NOT replace your child's current healthcare provider. A full report of services will be provided to you to share with your primary care provider. Also, no payment will be due the day of service. Sterling Health's SBHC accepts all insurances and has special assistance available for the uninsured. You can choose to be present for your child's visit as well, but it is not required. You may also call directly to request an appointment for your child.
